Dana joined the Australian Public Service in 2014, bringing with her over ten years’ experience in social policy both domestically and abroad. Over her 12 year career in the Australian Public Service, Dana has led on the development of national research studies and contributed to legal-policy reform in the areas of law and justice, homelessness and national security.

Through her PhD research at The Australian National University, Dana is examining Australian fathers' roles in the gender divide in paid work and care. Research on the fatherhood practice in Australia, will help to reduce parental work-life conflict, help organisations to manage the future of work, assist Australia to prepare for the increased caring required as a result of our ageing population, and ultimately improve family life for parents and children.
