Kelsie is a proud Wiradjuri woman with a career at Services Australia spanning 16 years across service delivery, welfare modernisation, project management, and ICT and digital transformation.

Kelsie completed her Pat Turner Scholarship in 2025, graduating a Masters of Anthropology and Planetary Futures. Her studies explored what it means to be human, from cultural practices and daily rituals to the power structures, policy, and rapid advancement of technology that continues to reshape our lives. Her postgraduate studies deepened her commitment to designing services that are not only effective and efficient, but also equitable, just, and grounded in lived experience.

Kelsie returned to Services Australia in July 2025, applying her insights at the intersection of technology and anthropology. Most recently, she initiated the Remote Enhanced Access Communications Hub – a project designed to bridge the gap between emerging technology and remote community needs by fostering community-led, technology-enabled design principles and genuine partnership with First Nations communities.
