Tiana is a proud Kamilaroi woman from South-West Queensland. Beginning her career in the Australian Public Service (APS) through the Indigenous Cadetship Program, Tiana now has extensive experience across state government and the not-for-profit sector, where she championed initiatives that deliver culturally informed outcomes.
In 2022, Tiana re-joined the APS. She is an Assistant Director at the Department of Home Affairs, leading programs that strengthen relationships and embed First Nations perspectives into policy and practice. Undertaking a Master of Public Policy at Charles Darwin University, Tiana is committed to shaping inclusive frameworks that empower First Nations peoples and influence national decision-making.
