Phillip is an Assistant Director at the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and has worked on the governance of the National Disability Data Asset (NDDA) – a role he has also held at the Department of Social Services. Phillip joined the Australian Public Service (APS) as a Treasury Graduate in 2018. His Treasury work includes the Treasury Industry Model, working in the 2023 Employment White Paper Taskforce, migration forecasting and labour market and firm level analysis using microdata.

Phillip will study his PhD at The Australian National University Crawford School of Public Policy. His PhD thesis will use the NDDA to analyse the role of the school environment on educational, employment and health outcomes of people with disability. Phillip hopes that his research will be used to create valuable insights to enable policy makers to design targeted education policies and to improve outcomes for people with disability.
